At Sharp Children’s Centre Nursery and Primary Mixed Day and Boarding School, located just 700 meters off Musita B-Majanji along Mayuge Road, in Musita town, Mayuge District, Uganda, we recently held a special Prayer Week. It was a wonderful time for everyone involved, filled with faith and inspiration.
Highlights of Prayer Week
1. Daily Morning Prayers:
Every morning, our students from all classes, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and the school administration gathered together for morning prayers. It was a peaceful and uplifting way to start each day.
2. Special Bible Lessons:
Throughout the week, teachers conducted special Bible lessons. Students learned about the importance of faith, love, and kindness. These lessons helped them understand how to live a God-fearing and respectful life.
3. Prayer Groups:
Students were divided into small prayer groups. In these groups, they prayed for each other, shared their thoughts, and supported one another. This helped build a strong sense of community and friendship.
4. Guest Preacher:
We were blessed to have Pastor Kyeyago as our guest preacher. He gave us a powerful and inspiring message. We thank God for using him and we also thank Pastor Kyeyago for accepting to be used by God. His words touched many hearts and encouraged us all to keep our faith strong.
5. Full Participation:
It was wonderful to see everyone fully present and active during the week. All our students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and the school administration participated with enthusiasm and dedication.
6. Closing Ceremony:
The week ended with a beautiful closing ceremony. There was singing, dancing, and a special prayer for our school, students, and their families. It was a heartwarming event that brought everyone closer together.
